I love America – don’t you? – it’s the greatest nation in the world!

How do I know? Well, I haven’t visited all of the countries of the world, but I have had the great opportunity to visit so very many, and I can say firsthand that there is truly no place else in the world that I would rather be – I love America.

Now, does that mean I love all that’s going on in America today? No; and that’s one big reason why I continue each year to produce these holiday specials; to do my own small part in helping us be on our best track to be a better nation – and to continue reminding us all that we as a nation are so very blessed by Almighty God.

Some of what you will hear in this special Labor Day program:

• You’ll hear the story of the actual start of our U.S. Marine Corp and how one nation of Middle East pirates all the way back in 1801 gave our U.S. leaders the need to start the Marine Corp. You’ll hear the true story of what happened when those first Marines in America travelled all the way to the Middle East to defeat the enemy and win that war.
• You’ll hear the story of Kelly and I, on our first trip to Africa, and what we saw there of the people. There are truly lessons to be learned from so many very kind and friendly people all around the world.
• Our Labor Day has been around as a national holiday for a long time, but chances are you’ve never heard the true story of how we came to even celebrate Labor Day in America. I will be telling that story in this program.
• We all know the story of our astronauts who landed on the Moon in 1969. But I will be telling more – the hardly known story of something that happened, something very special that they did, even before they walked on the Moon. If you love God, you will love this story.
• Finally, I will be sharing with you my thoughts, my heart, on where this America I love so very much is today, and what we must do if we are to keep going as this great nation.

There are so many stories, so much to say about America and our history. This is a powerful program full of Great Stories for Americans of all ages.

The show is formatted to fill a 1-hour time slot with an actual length of 44 minutes. It follows the SRN Talk Clock with segment lengths and breaks, the same as last season.

The goal in all of my shows is to honor those great Americans who have made our nation great. And, to honor Almighty God for His great faithfulness to our America
